Hi, I’m Mary! I’m based near Boston and have been writing my heart out since My Password Journal hit the markets. I have a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Environmental Science. Although I have an incredible passion for sustainability, I quickly realized I was more interested in fashion than fieldwork and made the switch to copywriting two years after graduating. I started my writing career doing editorial features for POPSUGAR and then moved to short-form promotional copy at Macy's. I led copy for high-profile sales like Black Friday, and grew to love the chaos of the holiday season in retail. While I now focus primarily on beauty and fashion, I love the challenge of researching and writing for any topic. 

What you really need to know about me? I'm very serious about flossing, I love a good matching sweatsuit, and my drink of choice is a Dr. Pepper Zero Strawberries & Cream.
